Auction company to feature guns
Bidders get ready, some of the rarest guns in the world go up for auction on Friday in Rock Island. The Rock Island Auction Company is holding a three day sale at it's new home. You can bid on nearly 3,000 guns dating back to the 14th century.
Some of them are expected to go for around $200,000. The auction company held a preview on Thursday and collectors got to get up close and personal with the firearms.
"We want people to come in here and pick up the guns. Collectors want to see the guns, know they are in the original state and we encourage that, "said the owner Patrick Hogan.
The auction starts at 10 am each day, but doors open for a preview at 8am.
