Peacemaker Program Elects Board Officers, appoints Interim Executive Director
(Utica, NY – May 13, 2011) The Peacemaker Program announces the appointment of board officers and interim Executive Director.
Steve Robinson has been appointed interim Executive Director, while the board of directors seeks to hire a full time executive director. Brenda Episcopo resigned to become Executive Director of United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area.
Robinson has been the Director of Programs and Training for the past 4 years with the Peacemaker Program. He is a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force and has a background in Human Resources and Law Enforcement.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping to lead our organization through the transition ahead. I’m appreciative of the confidence our Board of Directors and staff have in my ability to move us forward into the future,” said Robinson.
Beverly Quist, Board President said, “We are confident in Steve’s ability to manage the organization during this transition phase. The board of directors remains committed to our mission, and is driven to find a dynamic new executive director to lead our organization into the future.”
The Board of Directors also elected officers at their April 13th meeting.
